Riaan, Thanush, Vaishnavi, Asees in finals at the 20th Ramesh Desai Nationals U12 Tennis Tournament 2026
Mumbai, March 6, 2026: RIaan Nandankar of Gujarat , BC Thanush of Karnataka , Vaishnavi Balajee of Tamil Nadu and Asees Barar of Punjab entered the finals of the Boys and the Girls event at the 20th Ramesh Desai Nationals U12 Tennis Tournament 2026 which is being organized by MSLTA and played at GA Ranade Tennis Centre, Mumbai.
In the Boys semifinal Riaan Nandankar of Gujarat outplayed Dhanush SM of Karnataka 6-2, 6-0, while BC Thanush of Karnataka stopped the winning run of unseeded Vishnu Pandey of Maharashtra 6-3, 3-6, 6-2;
In the Girls semi finals Vaishanvi Balajee of Tamil Nadu registered a 6-3,6-2 win over Aneeksha Govinolla of Telangana, while Asees Brar edged out Meera Singh Chaudhary 6-4, 6-7(8), 7-5;
In the doubles Final Dhanush SM of Karnataka and PM /Adhish of Tamil Nadu won the title as they edged Riaan Nandankar and BC Thanush 1-6, 6-3, 13-11.
Aneeksha Gavinolla of Telangana and /Vaishnavi Balajee of Tamil Nadu won the girls doubles title as they won 2-6, 6-0, 10-5 against Uttar Pradesh’s Saundarya Jaiswal and Andhra Pradesh player Peram Atharva
The doubles winner and runner up got trophy and certificates. The Prizes were given away at the hand of former national player Mr.Chetan Desai, Mr.Manoj Vaidya, CEO of MSLTA.
