Belgian Hanne Vandewinkel lifts 25th edition of NECC Deccan Gymkhana 75K ITF Women’s Tennis Tournament

Pune, February 14, 2026: 21 year old Belgian Hanne Vandewinkel edged out reigning champion Russian Tatiana Prozorova 7-6(0), 7-6(5) to win the 25th edition of NECC Deccan 75KITF Women’s Tennis Tournament which is being organized by Deccan Gymkhana and sponsored by National Egg Coordination Committee (NECC)under the auspices of the ITF, AITA and MSLTA and played at the Deccan Gymkhana Tennis Courts.
The winner Hanne Vandewinkel won the NECC trophy and 75 WTA Points and $9142 will look at her career ranking of 122. After the win today , the Belgian played her best tennis coming back from 4-5 in the first set to win the set in the tiebreaker.
The Runners up Tatiana Prozorova who won the event last year could not repeat her title win received 49 WTA points and $ 4886.
Indian pair of Shrivalli Rashmikaa Bhamidipaty and Ankita Raina made it a memorable event winning the doubles crown as they knocked out the Japanese pair of Misaki Matsuda and Eri Shimizu 7-6(3), 6-3 to win their first ever title together
The prizes were given away at the hands of Mr. Sunder Iyer, Hon Secretary of MSLTA, Mr. Andrew Moss, Executive Director of ITF, Mr.Vikrant Sane, Tennis Secretary of Deccan Gymkhana and Tournament Director. Mr. Mihir Kelkar, Secretary of Deccan Gymkhana, Tournament Supervisor Mr. Salah Massih, Leena Nageshkar were present on the occasion.
Mr Moss presented a special memento to NECC on behalf of the International Tennis Federation for probably being the only sponsor globally to support a tennis event for 25 years.
