Gautam , Albina are champions at Gadre Marine MSLTA - ITF Grade 3 Junior Tennis Championship

Pune, December 5, 2025:    Gautam Venkatraman of India and Albina Kakenova of Kazakhstan emerged champions in the boys and girls events at the Gadre Marine MSLTA - ITF Junior Grade 3 Junior tennis Championships organized by Deccan Gymkhana Under the auspices of ITF, Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association and Pune Metropolitan District Tennis Association to be played at the Deccan Gymkhana Tennis Courts.

In the boys singles finals the 6feet 4 inch tall 17 year old Gautam S Venkatraman who trains in Germany kept up his solid run in the event scalping the third seed in row.  The hard serving Gautam took over 2 hours to get the better of third seed Samarth Sahita winning 6-2, 7-6(3) and end the year on a high note 

Top seeded Albina Kakenova of Kazakhstan played fluently to outplay second seeded Diya Ramesh 6-2, 6-0 in just an hour , the sixteen year Ramesh made her second finals in two weeks .

The winner were awarded the M.V.Deo trophy and certificate. The prizes were given away at the hands of Mr.Sunder Iyer, Interim Secretary of AITA, Mr.Vishwas Lohkare,  VP of MSLTA, Mr. Mihir Kelkar, Secretary of Deccan Gymkhana, Dr. Vikrant Sane, Tennis Secretary of Deccan Gymkhana and Tournament director, ITF Supervisor Leena Nageshkar.
