autam to meet Samarth , Albina takes on Diya in finals of Gadre Marine MSLTA - ITF Grade 3 Junior Tennis Championship

Pune, December 5, 2025:  Giant killer Gautam Venkatraman will take on third seeded Samarth Sahira in the boys finals while top seeded Albina Kakenova of Kazakhstan will take on third seeded Diya Ramesh in the girls finals at the Gadre Marine MSLTA - ITF Junior Grade 3 Junior tennis Championships organized by Deccan Gymkhana Under the auspices of ITF, Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association and Pune Metropolitan District Tennis Association to be played at the Deccan Gymkhana Tennis Courts.

In the semifinal Gautam S Venkatraman  who upset the top seed  yesterday upset fourth seeded  Pratik Navin  of Australia 6-7(4), 6-4, 6-4 in a thriller he will take on third seeded  Samarth Sahita who staved off a challenge from fifth seeded Praneel Sharma  winning 7-5, 7-5. 

In the girls section  

Top seeded  Albina Kakenova  of Kazakhstan  overcame a fighting local girll  Parthsarthi Mundhe 7-6(4), 6-7(5), 6-4 in a close match lasting over 3 hours whe will now take on second seed 

Diya Ramesh  who was given a fight by  Harsha Oruganti before winning 4-6, 6-2, 6-2.

In the boys doubles Tavish  Pahwa and Samarth Sahita  edged out Praneel Sharma  and Om Verma  5-7, 7-6(10), 10-8 to win the title while in the  Girls 

Kseniia Akhrameeva  of Russia teamed up with state girl Aishwarya Jadhav to win the crown the Indo Russian pair  registered a 

6-3, 5-7, 10-7 win over Sri Lankan

The winner and runner up got trophy and certificate. The prizes were given away at the hands of Mr. Prakash Kadam, Regional Manager of Gadre Marine, Dr. Vikrant Sane, Tennis Secretary of Deccan Gymkhana and Tournament director, ITF Supervisor Leena Nageshkar.
