Mane upsets top seed Singh at Endurance - AITA  Under 14 Clay Court National Tennis Tournament

 

Chh. Sambhajinagar, November 5, 2025: Maharashtra's  Rushikesh Mane continued his upset spree as he knocked out top seeded  Kaustubh Singh of Uttar Pradesh 6-3, 2-6, 6-4 to enter the semifinals of the boys event at the Endurance - MSLTA Under 14 Clay Court National Tennis Championship conducted under the Auspices of the All India Tennis Association (AITA) and the Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA) at the Endurance-MSLTA Marathwada Tennis Centre (EMMTC) at Divisional  Sports Complex Chh. Sambhajinagar.

 

In another upset in the  boys sixth seeded Arsh Kathuria upset fourth seeded  M Puneeth of Karnataka 6-2, 6-2 also to make the semifinals ; qualifier Anshul Pujari upset eighth seeded  Nibras Hussain of Assam, 6-1, 6-4 , while sixteenth seeded Smit Undre upset twelfth seeded  Mahesh Rhunmaan of Karnataka 6-2, 2-6, 6-4 to make  it to the semifinals.

 

In the girls section Maharshtra girl Srushti Suryavanshi continued her good run ousting K Ilaiyanila   6-1, 6-3 to enter the quarterfinals , eleveth seeded Harsha Oruganti of Andhra Pradesh upset seventh seed   Zoha Qureshi of Telangana 6-4, 4-6, 7-6(6) to scrape ino the last eight. 

 

Sixteenth seeded Aniha Gavinolla upset third seeded SK Shazfa  of Odsha  6-1, 3-6, 6-1 while another unseeded playerDeepthi Venkatesan of Tamil Nadu upset  tenth seeded  statemate Krishika Gautam  7-5, 6-1 to make the last eight stage
