Pune, October 17, 2025: Sonal Patll of Kolhapur played consistent tennis to lift her second consecutive womens title in Pune as she emerged singles champion at the empoerHER Foundation AITA MSLTA ₹1 Lakh All India Women’s Ranking Tennis Tournament being organised by The empowerHER Foundation, and in association with the PMDTA , AthletesBnB, Bharat Sports Evolution, MyMentalCoach, Yolkshire played at Aniket Wakankar Tennis Academy, Pashan
In a keenly contested final Patil seeded second got past Mumbai's Danica Fernando 6-3, 5-7, 6-2 to win the second title , earlier she had won the women's singles event at the event conducted at Deccan Gymkhana club. Sonal practices at PYC Hindu Gymkhana under coach Hemant Bendre.
Aakruti Sonkusare and Disha Behera won the doubles title registering a 6-4, 7-5 win over Aarushi Raval( and Chandana Poutugari
The winner and runner up got a trophy, certificate and cash prizes. The prizes were given away at the hands ofMr. Sourjendu Medda, Mr. Sandeep Nulkar, Tournament Director, Apurva Kulkarni, Mr. Arvind Ishwarlal, Dr. Swaroop Savanur of Mymental Coach, Mr. Varad Deshpande of Yolkshire, Tournament Supervisor Mr. Pranav Waghmare, Mr. Aniket Wakankar, Mr. Aditya Chaughule was present on the occasion.
