MSLTA Kicks Off Suhana Smart 10's Camp

Mumbai, July 25, 2025 – The Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA) today commenced its Suhana Smart 10's camp at the MSLTA grounds in Mumbai. A promising group of under-10 boys and girls from various cities across Maharashtra, including Pune, Solapur, Navi Mumbai, Dhule, Nashik, Sangli, Baramati, and Chatrapati Sambhajinagar, are participating in the program.

Beyond on-court drills and technical instruction, the MSLTA Suhana Smart 10's camp emphasizes a comprehensive approach to player development. All attendees will undergo crucial fitness testing to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Furthermore, the camp incorporates dedicated sessions on nutrition, educating the young athletes on optimal fueling for performance and recovery, and mental fitness, equipping them with essential psychological tools for handling pressure, building confidence, and maintaining focus.

The camp is led by top coaches. Mr. Manoj Vaidya, an ITF Level V Coach and CEO of MSLTA, ensures top-tier instruction for the budding athletes, with Supriya Mallaya as Assistant Coach. Participants will also benefit from specialized fitness training, designed to enhance their physical conditioning and agility, under the expert guidance of Fitness Coaches Mr. Jilani Shaikh and Ajit Sawant. This camp aims to give these young players a strong start, helping them improve their skills and love for tennis, both physically and mentally.
