Pune’s Shelke , Nasik’s Yadav emerge champs at Sardar Momin Memorial Under-14 Maharashtra State Tennis Championships
Kolhapur, May 19, 2023: Pune boy Pradnyesh Shelke and Nasik Girl Ananya Yadav emerged Boys and Girls Champions at the Sardar Momin Memorial Under-14 Maharashtra State Tennis Championships organized by Kolhapur Sports Association (KSA) under the auspices of Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA) and Played at the KSA Tennis Courts.
In the Boys Finals the top seeded Pradnyesh Shelke of Pune outplayed fourth seeded Zoheb Patel of Mumbai 6-1,6-2 to lift the title , earlier in the semifinal Shelke outplayed Third seeded Jay Gaikwad of Solapur 4-0 ,4-1 , while fourth seeded Patel upset second seeded Devraj Mandade of Amravati 4-1,5-3
Third seeded Ananya Yadav of Deolali Nashik registered a 6-4,6-0 win over fourth seeded Veera Harpude of Pune to in the girls title , earlier in the Ananya Yadav stopped the winning run of Nagpur’s Mishika Tayade 5-4(1),4-2 while fourth seeded Veera Harpude upset second seeded Mumbai girl Samradnyee Dalvi 4-1,2-4,4-2
The winners were presented with Certificates and trophies at the hands of Mr Sheetal Bhosale Jt secretray MSLTA , Mr Manik Mandlik Gen Sec KSA , Mr. Rajendra Dalvi Jt sec KSA , Mr Nandakumar Bamane Finance Sec KSA and MSLTA Supervisor Mehul Kenia
