Paparkar , Jadhav in main draw at MSLTA Mahatennis Deccan Gymkhana AITA U-18 Super Series Tennis Tournament
Pune, May 8, 2022: India under 14 junior team members Arnav Paparkar and Aishwarya Jadhav made it to the main dye of the boys and girls event at MSLTA Mahatennis Deccan Gymkhana AITA Under 18 Super Series Tennis Tournament which will be organized by Deccan Gymkhana and Maha Tennis Under the auspices of MSLTA and AITA and to be played at Deccan Gymkhana Tennis Courts
In the boys final round qualifying Arnav Paparkar upset third seeded Jay Dixit in an all Pune clash winning 6-2, 0-6, 6-3 while Kolhapur girl Aishwarya Jadhav upset. Qualifying top seeded Devanshee Prabhudesai 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 to make the main draw which gets underway tomorrow.
In other upsets Sarth Bansode upset second seeded Amin Raghav 6-2,6-1 while another local lad Arjun Gohad outplayed second seeded Pradyumna Tomar 6-2, 6-1 , unseeded Shreya Pathare topples fourth seeded Kamat Shrimoyee 6-0, 6-1 to also make the main draw .
