Nishit Rahane emerges winner at 8th Maharashtra State Mens Tennis Championships
Solapur Zone pair Wagmode/ Jadhav claim doubles title
Nanded, April 17: Pune’s Nishit Rahane emerged Mens singles champion at the 8th Maharashtra State Mens Tennis Championships organised by Nanded District and City Lawn Tennis Association and played at Nanded CLub, Nanded, Science College Road.
In the singles Final Top seeded Nishit Rahane scored a 6-4,6-3 win over Pune’s Arjun Gohad 6-4, 6-3 . Solapur player Chandrakant Waghmode scored a 4-1,4-2 win over Soham Jane of Nagpur to claim the third place .
Chandrakant Waghmode Combining with Tanishq Jadhav of Latur scraped past Amit Deshmukh and Harshal Bharne of Nanded 7-6(2), 1-6, 10-2 to clinch the Mens doubles title
The prizes were given away at the hands of Dr. Kishor Videkar, president Nanded District and City Lawn Tennis Association
Mr. Ajay Singh Bisen, VP of NDCLTA, Mr. Nilesh Chandak, Joint Secretary,
Mr. Waman Kalamse, Treasurer, Tournament Director, Mr. Ali Panjwani, Shivanand Videkar, Pritesh Nimbalkar, Tennis coach Sharad Kanadje were present on the occasion.
