Pune, May 13, 2022: Shibani Gupte and Namish Hood captured the Boys and Girls singles titles at the MSLTA Grand Slam Tennis Academy Championship series Under 12 Tennis Tournament which is being organized by Grand Slam Tennis Academy Under the auspices of MSLTA and AITA and to be played at Natraj Tennis Courts, Karvenagar.
In the Boys finals Namish Hood upset top seeded Smit Undre 6-4, 6-4 to claim the title , in the girls finals 6th standard student of Vidya Valley School unseeded Shibani Gupte upset fifth seeded Ritsa Kondkar 6-2, 6-0 to claim the girls singles
In the boys doubles finals top seeded Aaryan Kirrtane and Aarav Patel registered a 6-2, 6-1 over the pair of Vedant Gaikwad and Atharva Dakare .
The winner were awarded trophy and certificates. The prizes were given away at the hands of Mr.Sunder Iyer, Hon Secretary of MSLTA and Joint Secretary of AITA. Mr.Vasant Sathe, Member of Natraj Society, Mr.Nitten Kirrtane, Mrs. Riya Kirrtane and Tournament Supervisor Sejal Kenia & Riya Chaphekar
