Maharashra boys Aryan Goveas and Arjun Kadhe win doubles title in Egypt

 

NEW DELHI, DEC. 9: - Unseeded Aryan Goveas and Arjun Kadhe of Maharashtra , India beat second seeded wild card entrants Adrian Exposito of Spain and Diego Matos of Brazil 7-5, 6-3 to clinch the doubles title in the $15,000 ITF men’s Futures tennis tournament in Egypt on Saturday.

 

It was their maiden professional doubles title for both. The 23-year-old Arjun had recently won the singles title in a similar tournament in Vietnam. It was the first title in the professional circuit for the 19-year-old Aryan who had won the national doubles title with Haadin Bava.
