Siddhant was up against Michal Wozniak in the top half of the draw but he left no room for the Polish player to find his groove and fired winners all over the court to score 6-2, 6-0 win.

Two British players were in the fray in the bottom half of the draw, but they failed to get past their Indian counterparts and fizzled out in the bottom half of the draw.
